Fighter
Poetry performed in the about me section
She was raised in Taekwondo.
Holds close to traits like courtesy
tenacity and honesty but
perseverance above all else
Makes her fight for others and herself.
She’s a fighter.
How else might I describe her?
Blood, sweat, broke bones
Can’t run very fast
She knows how to take a hit but
she also hits back.
She’s loud and courageous
And her passion is contagious
It’s outrageous but she may just
Not know how to relax.
Martial arts raised
then a teacher by trade
then a student switched gears
Who’s got lots to say
And lots to learn
And some respect to earn.
She’s willing to work her a** off
To make heads turn.
She’s a fighter.
New Challenges Excite her.
Now a student
and she's planning
To run her mouth and make ads for a living.
Still a human
So she’s learning
To pick the right words, evoke strong feelings.
Substitutions
Don’t exist
For working hard and at least she knows this.
So she’ll be here
Through and through
Cause giving up is something that she can’t do.
She’s a fighter.
She wants to be a writer.
There's a certain agency that has a tradition of butchering its own name for fun. I saw it as an interesting rhyme challenge.
Mangle
Song moody, not broody, on sing-song duity
So I can come along to be
Workin at Wongdoodle?

It’s Wong, not dong!

Ping pong with T. Wong would be the Bombdoody!
Song got one nod, but can I win over tons of Wongdude-ies?
Words spun made fun puns show T. Wong P. Doody
King kongs brains not brawn want to belong to thee.
Want to wander on and be a Wong-ternee.
Journey to earn me sturdy work let’s get Alongdoody.
It’s Prolonged this song goes on. Long story long,
I wanna tag along at Wongdoody.
